New Delhi, April 2025 — Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to visit Saudi Arabia later this month as Bharat intensifies efforts to accelerate the ambitious India-Middle East–Europe Economic Corridor (IMEEC), a project poised to reshape global trade routes.
The visit underscores India’s growing diplomatic and economic engagement with the Gulf region, as the IMEEC project gains momentum. This corridor aims to enhance connectivity between India, the Middle East, and Europe, boosting trade, energy cooperation, and strategic partnerships.
Adding to the diplomatic engagements, Dubai Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed is also likely to visit India soon, further strengthening bilateral ties and exploring new avenues for collaboration in trade, technology, and infrastructure.
These high-level visits come at a crucial time as India continues to assert itself as a key player in global economic and geopolitical affairs.
